The oyster tray and stand are perfect for freshly shucked raw oysters on ice. But if your party attendees aren’t oyster fans, it makes a fantastic base for iced cold boiled shrimp, lobster bites, sliced octopus bites, or whatever seafood you and your guests fancy. I haven’t tried it with hot items, but I can’t think of a reason where a layer of hot rock salt on the tray can show off your best Oysters Rockefeller or outdoor smoked oysters with garlic butter and Parmesan cheese.
