Before moving forward, please be sure to visit our Evaluation page to determine if your piece qualifies for retinning. Remember, we are always happy to help in determining your cookware eligibility!
Once you have submitted your request, we will send you a confirmation email with our shipping address and additional details. You will need to print this confirmation email and include it with the pieces you send to us!
When we receive your copper goods at our warehouse and have checked them in, we can determine the costs to retin/repair. We will send you an invoice for payment. Once payment is received, we will add your items to our retinning queue.
The price is $7 per linear inch, measured as 2 times the height plus the diameter of the opening of the cookware piece.
To get an estimate on the cost of restoring your pan (retinning, polishing and securing loose handles), simply enter the height of your pan’s wall and its diameter (or, in the case of irregular or oblong pans, the long axis) below. The output will be an accurate or at least very close estimate of what we will charge for the service once we confirm the dimensions and condition of the pan.
Our estimated turnaround time for our restoration process is 2-3 weeks. We do all of our re-tinning on-site at our warehouse located in Austin, Texas.
All shipping will be billed with your invoice after the item is cleared by our evaluation process. Shipping fee guidelines:
When you would like to proceed with restoring your products, please complete our Retinning Work Order Form.
We will follow up with you via email with specific packing and shipping instructions to include with your shipment. This consists of a confirmation email that must be printed and shipped with your piece. Please do not ship your products without this form!
Again, not sure if your piece is suitable for retinning? We're happy to take a look and offer honest guidance.
