Shipping policy

We can ship to most addresses in the world!

Please contact us if you are having an issue.  Our packages ship out via UPS, USPS or DHL.  Smaller packages typically ship via USPS domestically, and larger packages with UPS.  International shipments are most economical with USPS, and they often use DHL as their carrier.  UPS is an international option as well.  You can select your best option at checkout.

 

Shipping

We ask that you allow 3-5 business days to process shipping; this does not include the shipping timeframe. We try our best to get everything out ASAP.  But we are a small shop, and sometimes it's BUSY in here. 

We don't ship out on weekends!  Please, give some fellas a rest.

 

Domestic Shipping Costs

For all orders in the contiguous United States, we charge a flat rate for shipping, depending on the order total:

Orders $0-$99.99 have a $10 shipping fee

Orders $100-149.99 have a $15 shipping fee

Orders $150-299.99 have a $20 shipping fee

Orders $300-499.99 have a $25 shipping fee

Orders $500-999.99 have a $35 shipping fee

Orders $1000 and above have a $45 shipping fee

 

International Shipping:

Currently, our international shipping includes duties, customs, or carrier brokerage fees. These charges are determined by your country’s customs office. If you have concerns about what the charges would be, we recommend checking with your local customs authorities for more details before placing your order. Please note that international shipping may take 2 weeks to arrive.

 

Signature Upon Delivery:

We highly recommend purchasing the Signature Upon Delivery Required Option if you have concerns in this regard, previous issues with packages not being delivered, or packages disappearing from your delivery location. 

Consider security measures: To minimize the risk of package theft, consider using a secure delivery location like a package locker or requiring a signature for delivery.

 

Expedited Shipping:

We do offer EXPEDITED services.  The fastest is a 2-day delivery with UPS.  You can select this at checkout.  Orders placed before 10 am Central Standard Time will make it out that day.  Otherwise, it will ship the following business day.  UPS does not deliver to PO Boxes!

Other, more affordable expedited options are available, such as through USPS.  However, those guys occasionally miss a day, and it's caused us some issues.

Local Pickup:

Please note, we are not a brick-and-mortar store, so we are not set up for browsing. Our Austin office is our operations, design, warehouse & shipping headquarters. If there are specific items you wish to look at before purchasing we may have samples for you to look at. Again, please email or call the office if you wish to come by.

We are open Monday-Friday 10 am-3 pm.  Give us a heads up at  hello@sertodo.com when you’d like to stop by so we can make sure someone is here to greet you.   

 

What if I received an order with damaged items, missing items, or if my package is missing?

Damaged items:

If you’ve dented or damaged your item through use or dropping it, we can help fix that!  Just send us an email, hello@sertodo.com, and we’ll get you sorted.

If you have received an item damaged in shipping, notify us immediately at hello@sertodo.com, so we can process a claim.  To resolve this issue and send a replacement ASAP, we will need:

  1. Images of the damaged item.
  2. Images of the damaged item in the box, similar to how you received it.
  3. Image of the top and two sides of the box, and an image of the bottom and two opposite sides of the box.
  4. Images of the box label.  

We are unable to assist or make a claim for damaged items without these photos.

 

Missing items from your shipment:

First, please double-check your box.  We use recycled paper as a sustainable packing material, and sometimes things get caught up or hidden in there.  If you don’t find it, just reach out to us at hello@sertodo.com within ten days of receiving your order, and we will be sure to send out the missing item ASAP!

 

Missing Packages:

If your package is lost in transit, please contact us immediately so we can open a carrier investigation. We can file a claim and speed up the process to have a replacement sent to you. 

Once a package has been marked as DELIVERED by the carrier, we are no longer responsible for the package and are unable to send a replacement or process a claim for your items. Please proceed with filing a claim directly with UPS by clicking here.
